The Operations Manager is a key leadership role reporting directly to the Director of Operations. This position plays a vital role in achieving operational excellence by overseeing various areas such as staffing, training, professional development, inventory control, safety compliance, and systems efficiency. A core responsibility of the Operations Manager is to provide exceptional customer service and support to Area Leaders.
Successful candidates for this role will demonstrate a proactive approach in utilizing analytical insights derived from financial and efficiency reporting to drive the implementation and management of best practices in operations. By leveraging these insights, the Operations Manager will optimize processes, improve productivity, and ensure the overall success of the organization.
Salary Range: $62,500-$70,000
Bonus: Target bonus is 15% of annual salary (paid out quarterly)
Auto allowance: As part of our auto allowance reimbursement program, you will be eligible to receive a fixed bi-weekly contribution, in addition to monthly variable mileage reimbursement.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, motivate, coach, and support a team of Area Leaders.
- Regularly provide meaningful analysis of large and complex datasets. Surface key insights focused on enhancing operational processes, streamlining workflows, and delivering exceptional client experiences.
- Develop and implement budgetary guidelines, track spending against budgetary limits, and provide regular updates on financial performance.
- Hold Area Leaders accountable for accurate scheduling and daily timecard management.
- Proactively anticipate staffing needs and coordinate with Recruiting to develop effective strategies that maintain appropriate staffing levels that are aligned with the company’s staffing model.
- Drive iValet compliance through consistent communication, training, and development of all Area Leaders.
- In collaboration with the sales team and Account Executives (where applicable), ensure client satisfaction for all assigned communities through active involvement in the design and execution of corrective action plans.
- Identify opportunities to extend or introduce new services within the assigned book of business.
- Conduct community site visits to ensure adherence to service standards.
- Enforce safety compliance, documentation of safety concerns, and proactive identification of “near misses.”
- Coordinate fleet training, maintenance, vehicle inspections, and fuel transactions.
- Effectively manage warehouse inventory to address current and future needs.
- Identify and develop potential future Area Leaders.
- Manage adoption, implementation, tracking, and completion of assigned projects.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of leadership experience, including budgeting and reporting.
- Preferably, experience as a General Manager.
- Proven track record in implementing effective business remediation practices.
- Demonstrated success in managing and developing teams through strong leadership and mentorship.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, Excel & PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical skills with experience working with spreadsheets and data.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, along with superior interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build collaborative relationships with team members and colleagues.
- Strong project management, organizational, attention to detail, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
- Customer service experience and a strong customer service focus.
- Basic knowledge of human resource practices, including talent acquisition and performance management.
- Ability to make sound business decisions quickly and under pressure.
- Skilled in motivating teams to deliver quality results within tight deadlines.
Physical Requirements and Special Conditions of Employment:
- Ability to sit/stand while working on a computer.
- This position requires that you can lift and/or carry up to 50lbs, walk distances including up and down stairs, bend at waist and/or knees and lift arms at/over shoulders.
- Ability to occasionally work outdoors and work/drive in changing weather conditions.
- Ability to be exposed to disagreeable odors.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to operate company vehicle in a manner consistent with local and state rules and regulations and company policy.
- Ability to be on call during irregular hours depending on business needs.

The final compensation offered will be determined based on various factors, including the candidate's location, level of experience, and skill set. As such, it may fall outside the range listed above.
