Director of Janitorial Services
Position Summary: The Director of Janitorial Services will lead all aspects of the janitorial services team at Audi Field, Inova Performance Complex, and the FanDuel Sports Book. They will ensure that cleanliness standards meet the requirements of the organization, guests, and employees, particularly during the 200+ events hosted annually. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the janitorial services, ensuring cleanliness standards are met.
- Develop and maintain the janitorial budget, labor cost plans, and objectives.
- Serve as the primary contact for all janitorial service’s needs.
- Coordinate with contractors and suppliers.
- Conduct daily inspections and quality control checks.
- Ensure adequate staffing for events.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure facilities are ready for events.
- Manage inventory and procurement of janitorial supplies and equipment.
- Schedule cleaning of various areas, including offices, restrooms, and public spaces.
- Respond to emergency situations.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Five years of experience in janitorial management or related field.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet software.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Ability to work effectively with all levels of staff.
- Valid driver's license.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods.
- Spanish language skills a plus.
