Inter Miami CF is seeking a Sr. Director, Business Solutions to provide strategic thinking and define business solutions to maximize revenues and reach the objectives of key revenue streams within the Club and Miami Freedom Park & District. This individual will primarily oversee three verticals of the organization consisting of Miami Freedom Park, Sponsorship and Marketing Intelligence. They will define the Partnerships strategy from a business solutions perspective, understanding the asset inventory and providing accurate value propositions based on research and trends. This individual will also define the strategy for Miami Freedom Park. Finally, he/she will also provide intelligence in terms of fan and consumer profile and behavior, market and industry analysis, benchmarks, and sponsorship & consumer/fan trends.
Requirements:
- Define the partnership strategy from a Business Solutions perspective. Determine the partnership program and tiers, define the criteria for assets/inventory allocation, and understand the market trends and key data needed to create the category roadmap for Partnerships, while assuring an optimized asset mix allocation.
- Lead the creation of the value proposition for the club's partners and prospects, not only in terms of assets and rights but also having a holistic and analytical approach, based on elaboration of business cases for the partners/ prospects.
- Create and ideate an extended inventory, understanding key assets per category/ industry, assuring best in class approach and value proposition for each one, while identifying how partners can be integrated into the club ecosystem (team, stadium, district, onsite and digital).
- Identify the intelligence and narrative needed for partnership sales approaches, as well as the key metrics and insights needed for partnership packages valuation and key factors/ variables affecting these valuations.
- Assure continuous communication and coordination with the Partnership Development, Partnership Activation, and the rest of the BI team to gather sufficient insights and key information for tailoring proposals to each partner and category.
- Stay informed about industry trends to have sufficient knowledge to create the partnership strategy for the Club.
- Identify new value propositions and projects for partners/prospects by collaborating with other departments and staying up to date on new possibilities for assets and integration.
- Coordinate with other departments to assure that the partnership strategy and packages created can be successfully implemented, while aligning with partners’ objectives, KPI’s, and ROO’s.
- Understand the whole MFP stadium and district- its ecosystem, elements, key assets, value proposition, fan journey and business models.
- Design the strategy for maximizing partnership value proposition but also total revenues for the group, considering the different business verticals and units for Miami Freedom Park District and Stadium.
- Support the key stakeholders for the different revenue units to maximize the business while also assuring transversal consistency, scalability, sustainability, aiming to get the highest net value for the group.
- Analyze different options related to the commercial policies and strategies regarding Miami Freedom Park, not only for partners, but also for vendors, tenants and other stakeholders.
- Create business cases to assure maximization and optimization of the Miami Freedom Park District & Stadium in terms of revenues, value proposition and integration of the partners, in addition to fan experience and visitors’ journey.
- Define the policy for assets allocation and usages for Miami Freedom Park District & Stadium.
- Assure internal coordination and alignment with the different stakeholders.
- Perform benchmarks of other entertainment districts, including stadium and venues, to obtain data on best practices and learnings and replicate for Miami Freedom Park.
- Perform research on market trends, benchmarks, insights, key information and points, related to the fan and consumers.
- Understand the fan and consumer profile and behaviors to support the strategy. Enhance performance for Brand, Marketing, Digital, Ticketing, and the other business units related to the fan and consumer.
- Serve as consultant for multiple departments within the organization in terms of communication to the audience and products and services portfolio, based on the intelligence that has been built around the fan and consumer/ client.
- Perform benchmarks on the Club’s performance vs other teams in the market and industry, to obtain best practices.
- Obtain key insights to support strategic business decisions.
- Perform market research to get key information and data needed for the different business units/ verticals.
- Supervise and lead a growing team.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Economics, Business Administration, Statistics, Marketing or related fields.
- Master's degree or educational program related to Sports Business.
- Seven or more years of professional experience working in areas of sports / strategic consultancy, commercial strategy, sponsorship sales and strategy, market research & consumer insights, revenues strategy, business intelligence and analytic.
- Proficient/advanced using Power BI, Tableau or other data visualization tools to deliver insights at scale.
- Strong analytical background with business acumen, and heavy experience in business and analytical consulting
- Advanced user of survey tools such as Qualtrics, Google Forms, Verint…etc.
- Advanced experience using and administering Salesforce CRM.
- Highly effective communicator who can distill complex ideas into concise selling points.
- Curious self-starter who can derive complementary insights from seemingly disconnected data.
- Detail-oriented with good organizational skills, ability to multi-task, and manage time effectively.
- Capacity and skills to build and lead a team.
- A passion for fútbol is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, gamedays and holidays.
