In this role, you will manage scanner support to all laboratory scanning systems by providing troubleshooting support to the laboratories, training new users on use of scanners, and providing support and assistance to users for routine requests and troubleshooting activities.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Selects, trains, and leads a team of laboratory Scanner Superusers to help maintain lab scanners and expedite troubleshooting of scanner-related problems.
- Performs scanner competency reviews in compliance with CLIA/CAP requirements.
- Operates a training program for training new scanner users.
- Acts as the Subject Matter Expert for all scanner-related activities and serves as a point of contact for lab personnel with questions/issues regarding the scanners.
- Performs and maintains system configurations.
- Facilitates remote access for troubleshooting issues.
- Approves the use of new materials in the scanners.
- Helps lab personnel troubleshoot issues and acts as a liaison with scanner manufacturers.
Qualifications
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Strong documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Proficient with Spreadsheets and Word Processing software
- Familiarity with Google Workspace preferred
Education and Experience:
- BA/BS degree in a science-related discipline or equivalent combination of education, certification(s) and experience.
- 3 + years of practical lab related experience
