Job Description:
The Capital Markets Analyst will report directly to Josh Posnick (Senior Managing Director – Capital Markets). The analyst’s primary responsibility will be assisting the broader equity capital markets team in sourcing and structuring JV equity. This includes domestic single-family rental equity, domestic multifamily equity, and foreign equity sources (i.e. Japanese investors). The role requires a candidate to be detail oriented with strong time management and communication skills. The Capital Markets Analyst will have the opportunity to be involved in research, marketing, standardization and creation of offering memorandums and other proposal materials, waterfall analysis, ad-hoc analysis, and joint venture term sheet negotiation.
Job Function:

Assisting with a wide range of projects such as producing and reviewing offering memorandums, investor fact sheets, google earth tours, “one off analysis”, rent vs own analysis, and developing investor presentations and quarterly reports.

Researching and compiling internal and external data for the broad equity capital markets team. This will include data such as operational asset performance, REIT performance, critical market data, and the identification of new investors.

Coordinating with the equity capital markets team and local development team members on pipeline and equity raise tracking updates.

Updating and maintaining the CRM database of active, inactive and prospective investors.

Developing and maintaining a summary matrix of joint venture terms alongside the equity capital markets team for accuracy and changes that occur in venture structures with existing partners.

Organizing regular update calls for senior leadership with investors on a quarterly basis in which the analyst will attend.

Aggregating broad market investor feedback alongside the equity capital markets team for monthly internal distribution.

Undergraduate degree required

Ability to produce compelling and detailed materials and information for existing and prospective investors
